Hey everyone, I just got the good news that I have been accepted into Georgetown's FNP program beginning in November 2013. Because of my husband and I's income I will not receive any grants and will not qualify for much federal aid, although we DO NOT have $70,000 to shell out. Any advice on scholarships or private loans? I am interested in the HRSA program but my husband is active duty military and we may not be living near a qualifying facility when I graduate. I have a good GPA (4.0) and have done some volunteer work but many of the scholarships I've seen are need based vs. performance based. Any advice is welcome!

You can't out grad plus loans?
I am going to look at PLUS loans, thanks!

I am also interested in loans or other options, I am waiting to hear about the September 2013 Georgetown Cohort. Congrats on getting into the November one. Are you going full time? How long did it take for them to contact you after you completed your application?
I am going to do the part-time option since I will be working full-time. I heard back in three days. Good luck :).

Do you get any tuition benefits through your employer? Even if you do not some employers offer scholarships you have to apply for
My husband is active duty military so we will be transferring in Nov 2014. The hospital I work for requires a time contract after receiving tuition benefits and I will not be able to fulfill it. Thanks :).
