I live on Long Island New York and was wondering if anyone knows what the RN starting salary at Lancaster General Hospital or Lancaster Womens and babies hospital is.

Thank you in advance,

Christine

Lancaster General and Lancaster womans and babies are all part of Lancaster General. The base rate is 23.61/hr with 10% diff and 15% weekend diff.

I have worked there since Aug

Are you working in the woman's and babies hospital, I would really love to get a job there. I keep looking at the job opportunities daily and have just applied for a PA RN License. So I'm just waiting.

Christine

No I work at LGH on a Med Surg floor. But it is part of the LGH family.

Good Luck.

Hey Christine,

I am also from Long Island and want to move to PA. DId you get a job at Lehigh or Lancaster? What did you need to do to receive the PA RN license? I still have another year before I graduate but I want to start looking now.

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim,

I went on to the PA board of nursing website to download the application, the fee is $135.00 for a temporary and permanent license or $100.00 for just a permanent license. I am still in the process of looking and applying for jobs at Lancaster General Women and Babies hospital.

Good Luck with school.

Christine
