I first began attending the opera in the Fall of 1971. I received free tickets to performances at Lincoln Center, NYC. I got to listen to Beverley Sills, who died several months a go, and grew to love opera. Now the world has lost another great singer-Pavarotti. Fortunately I have several of his CDs. He was one of the world's greatest tenors.

He was a great star. I will miss him, too.
