Patient Ratio

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the patient ratios for NYC ERs. Not looking at any hospitals specifically just trying to get a feel for it.

I am ED RN in NYC and there's no max. the most i had was 22 at the same time with 2 ICUs. I usually get 14-17 patients. I started with 12 admits one time and my assignment went to 19 patients in an hour. The only thing we can do is protest of assignment everyday.
