A patient centered outcome is something that the patient learns/does that's related to their own health. The assignment is asking you to write an example of a patient centered outcome using those verbs. I'll give you an example using a verb not included in your assignment: "choose."

"Before discharge, the patient will choose three lunch options from the hospital menu compliant with a low sodium diet."
