Pathophysiology @ TWU-Dallas Fall 2012

Published

I discovered that several of us who are waiting out the Spring 2013 admission process into the TWU-Dallas College of Nursing are enrolled in the same Pathophysiology class. So, anyone who would like to talk patho while we wait is welcome here. I'm enrolled in the Patho 4344-30 section at TWU-Dallas, Mondays 8:30-12:30, instructed by ****Per site ToS do not post the names of school professors/staff/personnel*****

Thanks for starting this discussion. I logged into Black board and downloaded the power points as well as the notes. I am not studying prior to the class starting though. I have 6 days to prepare for the TEAS, and then I will take a much needed 6 day break before class starts. I am wondering as to the best way to tackle this class, but I guess I will wait and see......

I think that's a healthy approach. I'm taking a week off after my Federal Govt final on Thursday. Good luck on TEAS...preparation will help you feel relaxed.

Thanks for starting this =D am so excited to start this class. I been super stressed out with summer school and studying for the TEAS am super excited to get it all done and start this class. I take my exam on the 25th which leaves me two more weeks of studying :/ I hope I do well.

Do some good prep and you'll be fine. 2 weeks is plenty of time.

Liz! What's up. Maybe you remember me from APII at TCC?!?! Glad to know there will be someone in the 2013 program I know.

Are you taking any other classes in the fall?

Has anyone bought the book already? If so where did you get it from? The Majors Scientific books @ 2137 Butler Street in Dallas

has the book and workbook for $150, if you know of any better deals let me know. Thank you :)

Hi there, I saw an earlier post of yours and saw you are taking Patho at Denton...whatever. It was full by the time I got my act together, so I'll be at Dallas. How did grades and TEAS work out for you? Feeling confident on admission or not? Btw I always want to call you George, but I know thats not right.

I bought the ebook and workbook online from Denton bookstore. Ebook looks good, I'm a tactile learner though so not sure if this was a good idea. The workbook has small print, Yikes.

Yes, only Patho, all other courses are complete:) Between Denton and Dallas there are around 200 students taking Patho (granted some are biol maj.). Lots of determined people out there.

I knew you'd be sitting well with admission. I also have a 4.0 and scored a 91 on TEAS V.
