I don't get it. I'm really feeling confused by the whole situation. I'm not one to slack (even though my teacher has accused me of slacking) and I'm not yet passing my class. My clinical on the other hand: A's on both of my care plans and just got my eval back with a perfect 100%. I feel like I know what I'm doing, but I get into class, take the tests and I screw up.
Am I the only one?

Not the only one. My program started with 50, we have lost about 1/3 and graduate in a few short weeks. We have not lost any to Clinicals, (pass fail in my program) or returns at school (skills lab) or even the Dosage Calc you have to get 100% on. Every person we have lost has been from the tests, our passing the class is based only on the tests. Every once in a while we will have a project worth some points, but you don't get those points unless you have a 77% minimum passing grade on all exams. (in my program 77 is the cut off for C to D.
So we have lost many that were great in clinicals and bad with the tests. Talk to your instructor to go over your tests and see what you are doing and where you can improve. They would be able to give you the best advice since they can review your exams and they teach the class.
Best of luck to you, don't give up. What semester are you?
I have felt it has gotten easier each semester, not the the material itself is easier, because they say the tests and material is harder, but I have done better as the semesters go on because everything just seems to click more.
