Passed Skills/Written CNA exam...in Florida

Published

:yeah:I wanted to share my joy with everyone today:)..I challenged the exam today. I passed both parts!

If you are in the position as me, I can suggest you to do the following:

1)get any book that covers all the topics that are going to be tested, you will find the topics on the prometric website

2)Also make sure to print out the checklist for the skills portion

3)I started studying the book (Cram Exam for CNA) on Aug.18th..I read it over and over and tooks tests

4)and the remainder of the time you simply go over and over the checklist, for instance, I practice on my huge bear and my mom (nurse) was the evaluator, if you don't have a nurse..just ask your friend to be the evaluator for the day by making sure you cover everything from the checklist.

****make sure PRACTICE 5 skills each day, practice and practice until you dream with them, and when you get tired you take a practice test or go over some youtube videos***

BE CONFIDENT, STAY CALM WHILE YOU PERFORM...YOU WILL BE OK!..AS LONG AS YOU COMMIT YOURSELF TO STUDY AND PRACTICE--YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!:)..GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!:redbeathe:nurse:

ask me questions if you need to!!..remember I was in your shoes once;)

Congratulations, I knew you could do it!!!!! Good luck in your future endeveours!!!!!

Congrats! I failed the first time for the clinical part because I didn't study at all !

Then I decided to study a bit.. with a little doll just a bit.. and I managed to pass! And I got harder skills than last time.. I got lucky.. I did make some errors, but they were minors. I am not currently looking for a CNA job, but soon I will! Honestly, I think the CNA state exam is easy... it depends where you at.. we only get 3 skills here including hand-washing. Some states get like 5 skills..

That's very encouraging too know you passed. Right now I'm a HHA. And I would like to challenge the state to take the cna test. Where did u purchase your book from? Or did u borrow it from your local library?

Hello Lala718, I bought it at barnes and noble..I know there are many other books out there. Make sure to go over the topics that are mentioned on Prometric, as long as you cover them, I am sure you will do well. Good luck:)

Remember: Questions are common sense, don't double guess!

Hi does the cram exam book show you how to do all of the skills?
