Hello everyone. I took my EC Reproductive Health Exam today. Got an A!! Now...on to the studying part. The SG101 CD was lacking in too many areas to me. It seemed to have plenty of definitions but no application. So I studied my tail off the old fashioned way, with that EC textbook! As usual, the exam is set up like a "comprehensive" mountain. Very tricky too I might add. The EC study Guide covers it all as you already know. I didn't have a ton of meds on my exam, but a lot of disorders and antepartum interventions. Moving on to LS1 now. Been reading other comments and I'm nervous! As always, I enjoy the feedback. You guys rock.

Hello nurse effort. Congrats!! I took it today as well. I made a B. I found the test to be pretty straightforward. I used EC study guide, SG 101 and Saunders NCLEX . But most importantly I could not have done it without GOD.
It actually took 2 months because I had some things to come up. But straightforward...Im guessing every bit of 5 weeks.
Prayer! Yeees! lol:yes:

I got an A on Repro and only used studygroup101 with no textbooks. sg101 covered everything on the content guide.

I am studying for this now, but I cannot afford the test yet or pay for pre-test. Blah! Have to have the test scheduled before Oct. 13 so I don't have to purchase new books and the content guide changes. I started out for this exam with their 8-week conference. It didn't seem to provide me with much info so I requested to withdraw. It took Excelsior a month to withdraw me, so I kept going on it for fear that they wouldn't and I would forfeit my $$. It kept me on track with reading, but the content wasn't that great. Oh well! I got a great headstart! I am using SG101 and books to study. Plus the Q's that come with online access from textbooks have immensely helped me get through the other exams.
