I passed the skills but not the written. It makes me upset because after 3 tries I finally think I know what happened. It asks a Q then gives you 4 choices. Some of them said what would you do? Often one of the choices was "Tell the nurse". I went with this thinking it meant 'mark it down in order to tell the nurse but I guess they meant "GO tell the nurse". (Only Go tell the nurse if it's an emergency) Like one said 'Mrs. Smith didn't eat any fruit & only some of her juice, what would you do?' a) yell at her b) eat the rest so no one knows c) notice how much she ate d) tell the nurse. I should have gone with C. I know you determine how much she ate & mark it down (but I pictured someone standing there looking at her food). After three times you have to take the class again in order to take the test. I don't know if I want to pay for that again. Also, if I do take it again, does anyone know if I would have to do the skills part again?

I would try to take it again. For most the skills test is the hardest. Here in north carolina if you pass one and fail the other you do not have to take both again. The first time i took it i failed the skills over something stupid. But i tried again and passed. I was so proud of my self when i did and my husband was proud of me to. Anyway good luck.
Do you have to take them both if you fail one?

You failed the written by missing just one question? What state do you live in?
Oh-and here you only retake the part you failed. You get three chances. YOu have to repay each time though.

im not a 100% sure but I think if you have 2 take the class again that wld also include the clinical aspect, but you shld check within your state or ask the school
sorry misunderstood your question, you'll only have 2 repeat that part you failed in with 3 chances, after that repeat class
