I've been shedding tears of relief. Took 2 hours and 85 questions to pass my LVN NCLEX.
My LVN program used ATI. ATI? The ATI questions seemed to be a tad easier than the NCLEX test. My ATI predictive passing percentage was 90%. But that was 6 weeks ago. I believe my ATI predictive percentage would have been 95% on NCLEX test day.
Since then I studied the Saunder's book. I studied and answered practice exam questions 6 hours a day... My verdict? Saunder's is very thorough and detailed! I recommend it.
For those who are curious about the Saunder's 4500 question computer test bank.
Over a 6 week period I answered all 4500 Saunders questions. If I missed the question, I read the rational and strategy. I scored between 53%-80% on Saunder's practice exams. The first 2 weeks I averaged 65%. Second 2 weeks I averaged 67%.
The last two weeks I averaged a 70%. My verdict? Saunder's questions seemed more difficult than the actual NCLEX test.
I highly recommend the Saunder's LVN Book and Test bank. On the internet, I took Free Kaplan and U-World practice test questions. The free questions seemed easier than Saunder's. I suppose Kaplan and U-World would save their primo test questions for paying subscribers. However, that is just conjecture.

Thank you so much for this. I take my NCLEX-PN on the 15th and I was so nervous that Saunders wasn't good enough. I've done all the questions as well and I've been getting mid 70's to low 80's on my practice exams. I've been out of school for 6 years and this will be my first time testing so my confidence on passing the 1st time was really low.
