I am from Upstate NY and awaiting a date for my CPNE. Been studying and looking everything over to get my feet wet and would be open to a study buddy, video chat whatever. I had a study buddy for the cardiac portion of the courses and right now can not remember the name of the online class but had to repeat it but thankfully got through it. I am a little intimidated by the CPNE. Alot of time and money invested in one weekend. I am ready to move forward with my nursing career and trying to decide what I want to buy to prep for the CPNE and if I want to do a workshop. The costs of everything are a concern. Anyhow I can be found at [email protected] if you would like to contact me.

Congratulations!! I took mine over 8 years ago with Excelsior and I still remember the stress of that weekend! Thankful I passed on the first try and did not have to endure that pressure again. It is stressful but completely doable. Relax and know your stuff before you arrive and you will do great. The nerves will wreck you if you let it.

Stressful indeed. I passed NCLEX on the first time too. I thought it was easier than the ATI.

I passed FICC..Still waiting to take clinicals..after 35 yrs of nursing and being short for nurses, they let you graduate..My facility has a skilled unit. I have passed PICC sterile dressing and flushes, wound care and cath insertions. I also do care plans for Restorative and Safety! Excelsior is a pain..when I get done, will be looking to do my BSN somewhere else.
