Week five down! Or is it week four? Dang, I'm losing count. It's all beginning to run together. Anyhow, passed first unit exams in Fundamentals with an 89 and Pharm/Assessment with an 86. I'll take it! In my program 80-84 is a C, and below 80 is FAILING. Dear God, please never let me get below an 80. One of my instructors told us that first semester and third semester would be the hardest. In clinicals next week I get a REAL LIVE PATIENT. Dear God, can I add a PS to my previous prayer? Please don't let me kill/hurt/maim my patient. Also, forgive me for the ice cold Coronas with lime that I am about to partake in.

Lol. I remember being there. You can't kill anyone (yet). Your instructor will be there. Use them they are a resource. Take your time with assessments.
I'll graduate from my ADN program in Dec and you'll be amazed how different you feel in a short amount of time. We are also an 80% C school. We also have an AMAZING NCLEX pass rate and I know the two are related. Being pushed it good.
Good luck next week!
