Passed my ATI Teas

Published

I took my test today with about 3 months of on and off studying (not being in school sucks). I ended up passing with overall 76% (62% required): Reading 70.2%, Math 81.3%, Science 80.9%, and English 70.8%. Im surprised at how well i did in math but science was a breeze thanks to taking the test right after leaving school. My main 3 resource was Mometrix, Crash Course and Bozeman Science on YouTube (These 2 YouTube channels are the reason i passed top 5 of my class in physiology and microbiology). I took 2 out of the 3 test offered in the book and i purchased the practice test for 88$ about 4 days before the test. Pretty much from what i have seen so far, what ever you get on the practice test will be a reflection of your real score. Practice Test A 79% test B 71% really hard. Any suggestion i can give is take your science classes last if possible that you you can take the teas right after this way most material will still be fresh; ill never understand why people attempt the test with no prerequisites fail and complain. This is all the info i could think to give right now feel free to ask any questions. Any

Congratulations I'm passing. I took mine on this past Friday and I felt with just 13 days of studying off and on my life is very very hectic plus I work the overnight shift and I have 3 kids ranging from 6 years old to 17 years old I can't blame anybody but myself but I in order to get into the nursing program have to get at least an 80 or above I do plan on taking it again in July but, I'm extremely nervous and I just want to know exactly when did you finish High School I haven't been in high school since the nineties LOL and with the resources that you already suggested are those the only resources that you used?

Im 21, i finished high school in 2014, but most of the knowledge i needed came from my nursing prerequisites.

I hadn't had a science course prior to HS (1998 for me) before I took the teas. The OP is right...if you can take your pre req first, it really will help. If not...it's still posible to do well!
