Passaic County Community College - Spring 2025 (Evening Program)

Published

I just got accepted for Spring 2025 Evening Program. Is there anyone else on the forum that got accepted? I would love to connect with others in my cohort, I know a couple people in the day cohort ahead of me but no one who was actively applying to this one.

Orientation is next week and I'm thrilled, although I didn't totally expect to get accepted because I heard there were hundreds of applicants this year for 40 seats. I was already working on other applications, that's how unsure I was.

OMG hi, I also applied thinking I wouldn't get into the program this year since they denied me last year, but here we are! I was also unsure and was deciding on applying to different schools. But, please do message me, I am nervous about the orientation. Were there really hundreds of applicants for the evening program?

hey again, sorry for the multiple posts, but all-nurses won't let me send any PMs! it says I can send 0 a day, which makes no sense LOL. I tried both 😞 but if you feel comfortable to email me, here is my Gmail: doxxer.no.doxxing @ gmail.com

I was gonna post my PCCC email but thought I better not put that on a public forum LOL

Yes thank you! I responded back to you, sorry for the delay. 🙂

Hi All!

That total score did you all end up getting to get accepted? I have a couple of pre-reqs done but not all of them and wanted to gauge my chances based on your experience. Thanks!

Hey! I personally had like a 3.7 or something with my prerequisites going in, I had everything done except micro. I already had a previous degree, but on my transcript no GPA is listed for it, only 12 transfer credits (none of them were science prereqs). I had a 92~ on TEAS. In-county resident. I can't remember the points system exactly and I never actually got a confirmation on how many points my application had been awarded— not sure if they tell you or not if you ask.

But if memory serves me, I think max points possible is 20 total with GPA and TEAS score. Depending on how they handled my previous credits to determine the number of credits I'd earned by then, I think I would've been awarded anywhere between 16-20 points. But I'm not sure, my previous degree GPA was very very low with plenty of Ws and a couple Fs. I include this info just because it complicates my application a bit, so my experience is not representative.
