how to pass reading section of Kaplan for non-native American

Published

Hi,

I am a native Russian who has lived in the United States for 3 years. I have just completed a community college pre-nursing program. I have a 4.0 gpa including more advanced English literature classes as electives. Now, I have just taken the Kaplan test with scores of 82 on math and only 55 on reading.

How can I improve my reading and comprehension capability and reading Kaplan score? Then, I can apply for the nursing program with hope of being accepted.

Where can I find many practice tests to help me practice taking the Kaplan a second time?

Are there prep classes offered by companies to prepare for taking the Kaplan?

I have the Kaplan and Barron books. Are other books recommended for passing the Kaplan?

In Russia, I completed Master's level work to be a teacher, FYI.

Thanks, LLLJ45
