That's weird, you should definitely appeal, they should have counted it as equivalent.

How do I do that?

Maybe try calling the department again and sending them an email as well. They should have their contact info on their website

Still haven't received anything either

Sorry, it was actually at UCSD but it was 6 units with lab.

What course was it that you took at UCSD? Was it BIMM 120 & BIMM 121 ?

This? https://extendedstudies.ucsd.edu/courses/Microbiology-with-lab-biol-40335
Does the course count it as an online lab? I know it says "The hands-on laboratory component is conducted at home using a comprehensive kit" but unsure it would be counted as online or nah...

It does say on PCC nursing criteria "Note:  Online lab courses will be accepted.  Pass/Fail grades for lab courses will be accepted for the Spring 2020 semester only."

Was this maybe the issue? If you want to contest it maybe send over the description of the course from the UCSD catalog, the syllabus, and other helpful info you have about what the course covered and send it over to PCC. See if they can take another look?

edit: Wait sorry! read that wrong... so online labs are accepted at PCC right? if yes then unsure that was the issue. maybe send the info over because it does seem like it covers everything in the PCC Microbiology requirement?

Does anyone know what financial aid looks like for the bridge program with APU?

Rachel, is PCC for sure giving Adn students the opportunity of completing their BSN too?

You have to have certain requirements completed and I think you needed to say you were interested in the application.. look at the website for more info

Has anyone else heard anything from them? So close to just giving up

Hello,

Unfortunately I haven't. It's giving me anxiety because this program is financially better for me than a private. I dislike the organizing and how they aren't telling us anything.

Specializes in CNA.

Never heard anything from them again. Moving on to other programs now.
