I don't know exact procedure but I'm fairly certain there has to be second wave of acceptance logically. Even in the email it said we had till July 2nd 8:00am to respond with intent to accept or decline but earlier is preferred so they "may offer your place to an alternative student who wishes to enter the program". Also it seems most apply to multiple programs... and if they were on the higher end in terms of points at PCC it can be assumed they had a competitive application elsewhere too = more chances they decline. It's sh*tty but don't lose hope just yet! Sending good thoughts to those who's still waiting
Just called and spoke with seemingly the same representative I've inquired with before, and she stated they are still sending out acceptances but THE PERSON (I'm assuming that there's been literally ONE person that has evaluated all applications and also in charge of sending out the notices) has been backed up due to the high volume of applications received. Despite when applications were submitted (submitted mine 04/07/25...almost 3 months ago, wow) the notifications (whether they're acceptances, alternates or denials) are still currently being sent out, and to give them a couple weeks. 😓🤬
