Pasadena City College (PCC) ADN - Spring 2026

Published

I know we're still a couple months out from the application opening, but I wanted to start this thread early for anyone applying to PCC's nursing program for Spring 2026!

I'm so glad I found this thread. I applied with 80 points and feeling anxious.

I just got my acceptance letter, sent to official PCC email but my personal is CC'd. Had 90 pts. Wanted to go to PCC but was panicking and already accepted a different schools offer 😕

Congratulations!! I haven't received a decision yet but hopefully soon. Are you still considering PCC?

Congrats to all that have been accepted. I have not heard back from PCC, but curious to know if anyone's received a denial yet?

IDK stop plz said:

thank you! originally I was just gonna go through with Rio Hondo because I already soft committed and paid for their drug test and background check but upon checking RN.ca.gov's data on student attrition, I'm gonna go for PCC instead. For anyone who might be in a similar position and is wondering, its 8% vs 25% LOL...

Has anyone else heard back? I still haven't received anything! 😕

Wow I didn't look into attrition rates at all for the programs I applied to. Definitely an important metric I was not considering LOL.

Got my acceptance letter yesterday. I'm still conflicted to accept their offer.

Me neither actually. I did a quick Google search and found someone on reddit in a similar position a year ago and they mentioned looking at that data. I verified it myself and sure enough, last 5 years RH is like 20-25% attrition while PCC is 5-9%

Me too. I just canceled my drug test today; It is an hour drive if I want to get it done before November. Plus, Rio Hondo's BSN co-enrollment program takes three years, and PCC can do it with ADN at the same time.

Haven't heard anything yet either!
