Pasadena City College - Generic RN program Fall 2016

Hey all!

So, I haven't seen a thread posted about PCC's RN program for Fall 2016. The deadline was March 1. I feel like we're supposed to hear anything any day now... Has anyone heard anything back from them yet?

I feel you! I just called today and was told they are still reviewing applications. The young lady I spoke with said we wouldn't be getting any notifications until June. That doesn't sound right but I'm still hoping for good news! :/

Same! I finally got a hold of a live person yesterday (after days and days of only getting the office's voicemail) and she told me the same thing. I just would have thought we would have heard by now! I already got into Glendale's evening/weekend program, but PCC was my first choice. I have kids and a regular schedule would work better for me. It's just a little bit closer to me plus I did most of my pre-reqs there! Oh well... a couple more weeks of waiting, I guess!

So I sent an email as well as calling. I just got a reply via email saying they are still working on reviewing applications and anticipate sending notifications by the end of next week. Crossing our fingers we hear good news! Congrats on getting in at GCC!

Last time I emailed them, they said we should be notified of the result the end of May or beginning of June:/ anyone heard anything back yet????

i just got the email as well, do you know how long the alternate list is?

@alex94 I read on another forum that the alternate list is 100 students long, so unfortunately, its nothing that I am getting too excited about...

It is. Luckily I am also an alternate for College of the Desert out in Palm springs... i will definitely take whoever accepts me first though!

I'm still waiting for csu bakerfeild and lavc, i called pasadena to ask about the list length and they said "the don't have that information" ....liars...

I am waiting for CSU San Marcos also. That would be my first choice.
