Pasadena City College ADN Spring 2024

Published

Hey Everyone! Attempt #2! Just thought I'd make a thread for PCC's Spring 2024 ADN applicants. This is my second time applying and applications open up tomorrow August 1 - August 15. I will also be appling to other schools like College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Antelope Valley College, and Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Thank you! It was in my PCC email. I'm currently a student at PCC and that's the email I used my application.

Congrats! I'm almost convinced that I won't be getting accepted anywhere ?  I start a CNA program next month, hopefully that increases my chances during the next application period.

congratulations can you tell us your points? woohoo' finally

I got in with 85 points but will be declining the offer as I will be going to csun's ABSN program instead.

Hopefully my spot goes to someone who needs it?

I applied with 85 points. 3.55 overall GPA, 3.96 science and 86.7 TEAS. Plus work experience as an LVN and foreign language fluency. I honestly thought I wasn't going to make the cut. I applied to their LVN to RN bridge program too and was told there were more qualified candidates than spots.

I think PCC is big at LVN CNA experience, because my stats are 80 points (no clinical experience) 93.7 TEAS , bilingual, ect and I was denied last year .

Did you end up getting an email you were denied ? It's my first time applying to PCC and most colleges usually don't send you an email telling you that you were denied so you just gotta guess since you didn't get the acceptance email when others did

Sorry I replied to the wrong comment ?

I gave PCC a call and was told that acceptances have not been sent out yet, but will be within the next 2 weeks. Did you apply via the LVN bridge program? So there's still hope.

Applications for the LVN to RN program were due 2 weeks prior to those applying only for the RN program. That's why the LVNs are getting emails.
