Nursing Informatics Workforce Survey

HIMSS has surveyed the nursing informatics community over the past several years to gain an understanding of the role and responsibilities of the informatics nurse professional. This year, the survey explores job titles, salary requirements, education & training and barriers to success; we hope to capture current professional status and practice trends while identifying changes that have occurred over the last 6 years. Initial results will be presented during the HIMSS 2011 Nursing Informatics Symposium in Orlando, Florida followed by subsequent press releases and articles with complete findings and analysis. The results will be made available on the HIMSS Nursing Informatics website.
