The schedule is currently 3 hours two nights a week. Clinicals are every Saturday for 12 hours. The program lasts about 22-23 months with very short breaks -- 2wks at Christmas, 2wks during summer, 1wk for spring break.
Even though it is considered part time, it is very intense and many of the folks in class who work full time have struggled a bit, but others have done great. It might be a generalization, but the ones with flexible schedules do better than the M-F 8-5 ones.
Good Luck

Thanks moog!
Just trying to decide what to do. I found some info in other threads but it was regarding the weekend program at Glendale. This sounds like it would work for me, even though I was really hoping to get done sooner through an accelerated program, but, you gotta' do what you gotta' do. There is no way I could do that and work full time. Fortunately, I do have a job that is flexible. It will still be a challenge though. Good luck with your studies!

Is anyone currently in or has gone through the part-time (evening or weekend) program at Gateway? What are your hours like? How long is it going to or did it take you go complete the program? I have been planning on applying for the accelerated program through Banner or Scottsdale, but there is no way that I can do that and work full time. Unfortunately, I have to work, so now I am looking at the part time program. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
