Depends on the facility.
Do you have about an estimate? I'm seeing if I can live by myself while being a part time cna while going to college.

I'm going to be a night shift CNA working weekends for $15 hr. in home care. I live in Washington state and will work from 16-24 hours each weekend. I'm married though and also rely on my husband's minimum wage part time income. I recommend seeing what jobs you can find that are noc and weekend because they pay the most.
Pay varies widely from state to state. It also depends on the facility and your experience. Hospitals generally pay better than nursing homes but want you to have experience.
There are a lot of threads on this topic in the Facebook group "CNA's" (yes, I know the apostrophe shouldn't be there, LoL, but that's the name of the group)

Pay varies widely between facilities and geographically. With in the same city I went from making $11/hour w/o differentials and benefits to $16.45/hour + differentials and benefits by changing jobs (and having experience). How many hours is going to be determined by facility need and job description - is the part time role a partial FTE or a per diem job? That can affect how many hours you have and what benefits (if any) look like.
I think it would be very difficult to live independently on on a part-time CNA income with no outside assistance, but you could probably do it on a full-time CNA income if your were frugal with expenses, but once again it depends on where you live and what costs you have to maintaining your lifestyle.
I agree with Verene that it would be very very difficult to live independently on a pt CNA wage.
