Hi and welcome to allnurses :)
I actually have my interview for the NNICU this afternoon and I am really nervous. I hope all goes well because this is my 'dream job'.
I graduated this past December and have only had one other interview, and that was at Parkland as well last December. It was a panel interview and I assume the NNICU interview will be a panel interview as well as the recruiter asked us to bring 3 copies of our resume.
I am preparing to answer the usual questions like Why Parkland? Why the NNICU? What are your strengths/weaknesses? ect. There are always behavioral questions too like 'explain a time when...'
I hope you and I both do well on our interviews. Good luck!!
Update - I think the interview went well. The 3 NNICU managers that interviewed me were very nice and made me feel comfortable :)
They said they are looking to hire about 15 residents! Not sure how many they are interviewing though. If anyone wants to ask during their interview and let me know that would be very appreciated :)

Hello, I have my interview for the Parkland Memorial Hospital NNICU Residency Program in July 2014 this Friday afternoon. I am extremely nervous, as this will be my first real job interview since I am graduating in May. I was wanting to get some good interview tips and advice from others who have been through the interview process at Parkland. Previous interview questions would be extremely helpful! Thanks!
