Parkland hospital

U.S.A. Texas

Hey, can someone give me a bit of info, how far is Parkland Hospital from Frisco Texas, I will soon be finished with Excelsior and I don't think GABON is going to change their minds so I'm thinking of moving to Dallas I'm a single mom with three girls and currently make 90k a year as an Lpn in Fl (i work 84 hours a week) I would like to know if the Dallas area hospitals take in mind if you were an Lpn before you became an RN for salary purposes only. I have almost 8 years as an lpn, and have worked Med-Surg,TELE,PCU and some ICU. Please I'm looking for some feedback. THANKS:confused::confused::confused:

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

Most hospitals in the Dallas area seem to give credit on a 2:1 basis, so if you have 8 years as an LVN, then they pay you like they would a 4 year RN. I don't know what this works out to be but you could call them and ask.

From the hospitals I've talked to, Parkland seems to pay the highest for new grads. Good luck!
