Parkland Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship Summer 2021

I created this thread for the applicants and subsequent future Parkland Interns for 2021's Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship to communicate and connect.

I know they have a Nurse Residency program as well, but the title of this one which is opened only once a year around November/ December, is the Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship.. ED and ICU rotations..

A facebook page sounds good, just a side note for housing you can search up dallasapartmentlocators on Instagram or other social media sites or Google and find realtors who will help you find what you are looking for, for free

I live in Dallas, so cool that out of state new grads applied for this too! Parkland is awesome, is was always my favorite hospital to have clinical at.

Hey guys! Just stumbled upon this thread and glad I did! I applied for the CC & Trauma residency and interviewed on the 1st. They said we would hear back the 15th (today) but I haven't heard anything yet. Anyone else? Good luck to everyone! I'm from Grapevine btw ?

I hate that I didn't get to do my parkland clinical due to covid so everything is hearsay for me

Yeah I interviewed on the 5th and they said between the 15th and the 1st but people who have interviewed late last week said we would know by this week

Has anyone heard back yet? I swear I’ve been checking my email every 10 minutes LOL. 
Also, I’m a tech in the trauma ICU and I live around the DFW area. Best of luck to everyone this week! I hope we find out answers soon!

OMG same. Maybe they’ll call? Since they called to set up an interview?

I was told in my interview that it would be an email, but maybe they’ll call.

Yes! My sister was in the program about 8 years ago now, so it’s been on my radar for a while as an amazing program!
