Anyone know were one can take the paper/pencil version of the Teas-v around the chicagoland area? I don't know if any of the schools in IL offer it still or maybe they all moved on to the computer version. Please let me know if anyone thinks of one....Thanks!!

It seems like the programs that require TEAS score and designate it to certain days will use the paper and pencil version. When I applied to Aurora this year, I took the paper and pencil version in January. They only offer it around that time of year though. If I recall right, they won't accept scores elsewhere.
But looking at the ATI website, other programs like Joliet, Olivet Nazarene, etc are talking about needing #2 pencils and have testing dates in the nearish future, but I've never really looked at their programs so not sure. It might be worth seeing what's close to you on ATI's site and getting more information to see if they're really the paper and pencil version. I imagine the scores could be sent to another school via ATI. Just make sure your program isn't picky about where you take the test!

Hey thanks for the reply I really appreciate it! I was looking at ATI's website and did notice the listings of schools that your talking about, but they also say "bring your username and password" so I figured they are the computer version. Like you said they do say to bring pencils, but so did St. Xavier when I had taken the test there and it was the computer version. Aurora isn't to far from me and I will have to give them a call to see if they have any testing dates coming up. Do you know if they allow people to sit for the test there if they aren't applying for there program? Thanks again for replying and helpful advice!

I think on the ATI website if you pretend to register for Aurora's TEAS V it says that the test is only for those intending to apply to Aurora. Definitely check with your school to see where you are allowed to test. Since I was applying to Aurora, I could only test at Aurora.
