Hello everyone I am new to this forum but I was just accepted into Panola colleges ADN program in Carthage,Texas...I am kind of lost as to what to expect...I know it won't be a piece of cake though lol...I had several questions ..I just wanted to know how are the teachers? How are the classes set up? Is there anything I can do to get ahead (study wise)? And how hectic do you think it is? And are you not expected to know the majority of the curriculum, they do go over everything right? Lol..I am extremely nervous about it as I will be starting this fall in August and I don't know anyone else that is..

Congratulations!!! I am applying to the program in the Fall of this year. I have the same exact questions as you. Could you tell what your GPA was and your HESI score? I trying to figure out just how competitive it is? I currently have a 3.75 GPA.
Well I had a 3.0 GPA...and my Hesi overall average was a 90... Math-96, reading-86 and grammar-88...I was told that they will be introducing a concept based curriculum and we are their guinea pigsí ½í¸±í ½í¸±... I guess that's why I'm more nervous than anything... Lol but I wish you all the luck

Congratulations on getting in! I live in east texas and I plan to apply for Panola College ADN in Fall of 2016, as I still have a few more prerequisites to take. Your HESI scores are awesome! I need to get that study guide so I know what to expect. Being in the local area, I have talked to current nurses who graduated from Panola and they have nothing but great things to say about it. Also, they have a good pass rate on the NCLEX exam. Good luck to you all and have fun learning!

Hi there! I was wondering where you found housing or live while attending Panola. I just got accepted for the fall of 16 and will have to move, but I'm not finding a lot of places to live online
