PALS study material

Hello Everybody

I searched google and the allnurses message boards but I can't seem to find anything so I'm wondering,

does anybody have any good study material for PALS? Maybe a study guide or practice questions for the written portion?

I have the provider manual but I could use other material (written test anxiety ahhh)

Thanks

Everything that you need to know to pass the course is in the PALS provider manual, and will be reviewed in the course. If you feel that you absolutely must review additional material, I would recommend the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, which are available on line.

Relax, enjoy class, and don’t read anything into or try and overthink the questions.

Thanks! I'm always nervous about exams haha.

I enjoyed the PALs class when I took it. One thing I found very helpful when reviewing the material is the PALS pocket card. I can't remember if it comes with the manual or not. But the pocket card sums up a lot of information using algorithms in flowcharts.

Good luck and enjoy your class!

I just re-certed PALS again... the test was no big deal... very simple and straightforward.

You need to know your algorithms and med doses... with that, you're golden.
