In the past several weeks, I've noticed an increasing amount of pain, especially the day after a shift, although it continues for days. I did a search, and found alot of threads about lower back pain, but (amazingly) that's not really my issue.
I often have pain in between my shoulderblades and down in my hips and occasionally my ankles. Now, I managed to bust my a$$ last night @ work (my own fault) and now my right shoulder feels like a cleaver is stuck in it and the interior aspect of the back of my left knee hurts. AHHHH!
But at least I understand the source of that pain (the fall), whereas those other "aches and pains" (the shoulders, hips, ankles, and other occasional wierd things like my left buttock or something) just appear and stay sore. I guess it's just striking me because it's new (about a month, and I've been working as a nurse for 9 months) and, if anything, I've really gotten much better @ asking for help and practicing good body mechanics. But even on physically "easy" nights, I still feel sore.
Does anybody have any suggestions for dealing with the aches and pains? (Not really medical advice, just if anyone else has experienced this and what has helped.) I had a full physical done about 3 months ago, bloodwork included, and checked out fine. (Suprisingly enough, even my cholesterol level was good.) I am overweight, and had actually gotten back into a pretty good workout cycle (had joined a gym once I graduated), but in the last month I've hurt too much in between shifts to do anything physical but what I absolutely have to. (Like errands, laundry, other housework.)
I'm just frustrated. Thanks!

I'm so sorrry that you hurt so bad. Even though you just had a physical three months ago, the pain has started since then. I would advise you to go back to your physician and see what can be done.
I'm sorry but we can't provide medical advice. Take care.
