Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) ELMSN - Summer 2025

Published

Hi,

Just wanted to start a thread for anyone who have been accepted/applied to PLU to start this Summer. Also, was hoping to hear from last year's cohort on how it has been. I'm not local to Tacoma, so advice of where to live would be great!

Waitlisted 🥲hoping I can get a spot in this cohort

Where is everyone from, anyone from out of state? I'm coming from Texas.

Hi , We are from Washington state LOL.

Hi all,

I have also been accepted into the program. Could you let me know when an FBG has been created? I can't wait to meet you for Summer 2025!

I made a Facebook group for admitted students! https://facebook.com/groups/591933717190940/

Hello everyone,

I recently came across this thread and am planning to apply for the Summer 2026 cohort. I noticed that I missed the December 1st priority deadline and wanted to ask whether applying after that date reduces my chances of admission.

I don' feel super confident about my stats I have a 3.5 cumulative GPA in Public Health, I currently work as a lab assistant and caregiver but I have minimal volunteering experience but all prerequisites are done besides Lifespan psych which is in progress. I feel super duper anxious so any advice would be amazing 🙂

Hi! Honestly, not really. I know some people in my cohort who applied after the deadline and still got in. It really just depends on the cohort size overall. As long as you don't miss the overall deadline you should be fine. A 3.5 is an amazing GPA, as long as you do well in your prereqs and have good hands on experience you should be fine! A lot of ppl in this cohort CNA or caregiver experience so that's a plus! Good luck!!
