Does anyone feel that bringing nurses from other countries will cause a major issue with the nursing career field? It seems like anyone can be outsourced now a days. Everyone have a good day!

It really shouldn't matter if there is a global shortage for nurses, supposedly Japan ( Don't quote me on this) is the only country without a shortage. But I do get your general drift, who wants to move to another country just because ours is recruiting to many (maybe not the most plausable theory , but humor me).:p

Remember that there are no more temporary visas available for a nurse to work in the United States. They must now have English skills the same as a native speaker. The only way that they can come is with a green card, which means permanent residency. Hospitals and recruiters can recruit all that they want, but until the nurse is qualified by multiple exams, and all documentation has been completed in the Embassy, it won't be an instant fix.

The hospitals want instant nurses but they do not exist.

Instant nurses, just add water. :rotfl:
