Hi everyone,
I will be starting my first semester of college this summer. The semester is about 12 weeks long. My course of action was to take A&P 1, Eng comp, and intermediate math. But to my surprise the school adviser was not keen about it. When I informed my hours for work were part time she proceeded by suggesting some humanities. I was confident and comfortable with my decision until she threw that curve ball . I'm now stuck between a rock and a hard spot.
My family supports be 100 percent and will be helping with my 7 yr old and home. What do u all think? Would I be overloading myself with this being my first semester?
Thanks for reading

I took physiology overy an 8 week summer term. I loved being able to focus on that class (it is a cornerstone of nursing, after all!). But it did keep me VERY busy. Between that and working 24-28 hours a week, that's really all I did. No family at that time either. I would be wary of taking that and two other classes over the summer. If you're really bent on taking a full load, take that class and one you feel will be easy. If you're strong on math, the math class maybe is a good choice. If you're a strong writer (and the course doesn't require a crazy number of papers), maybe go for the English class. Or a humanities class. Just be careful not to overload yourself. At my school, you had to drop the course by the end of the first week in the summer term since it's shorter. You don't have a lot of time to back out if things are overwhelming.
