I was looking at the requirements to apply to nursing school in May 2018. TEAS test score is 50% of your placement, pre-req gpa is 40% and in-state residency is 10%. So what does this mean if i am going to be applying as an out of state student?? Will my placement be lower because i am out of state?

They are weighting students on TEAS and GPA. They are giving preference to in-state students, but only a little preference. If you had the same TEAS and GPA as an in-state student, they would be placed before you. This is only a factor if there are 50 slots and you were fighting for spot 50, otherwise it is irrelevant.
