HI! Some nurse friends of mine & I work in corrections in Az, and we were talking about applying for pool/per diem positions on CA corrections.
But I looked on my state board website & the CA state board website, and I can't figure out if CA is a compact state. My license has multi-state privlieges. Is CA included?? Or do I have to apply for licensure with CA state?
Even though we are not moving there, we just want to work there a few times a month.
Anyone have any info on this??? Any input is appreciated!
Thanks!!

CA is not a compact state. If you want to work there you will need a CA license unless you plan to work in a federal facility, such as the VA.
