How did your daughter come out? Many stitches? Hope she is ok!
When going to the ER it is always neat to watch people work, and I try to see what they are doing, and usually insist on seeing my own x-rays (with several broken bones, im getting pretty good at reading them :))
Let us know how your daughter is?

I got to share a similar experience today, but mine terrified me. We had to call an ambulance because my hubby had chest pains and almost passed out. I was very impressed with the way first response and the ambulance crew handled it...the ER did a good job as well, and I also found myself watching what was going on around me more closely than I used to.....He is home now, but has to have a nuclear stress test next week to see what it was...they couldn't find anything, but he couldn't brethe...had a pain in his chest...turned red....lips tingled....BP of 159/120...normal EKG...blood enzymes good...chest xray good....I guess we will have to wait and see...will keep all updated...

last night my daughter and i had to make a visit to the er. unfortunately she slipped in the shower & gashed her chin pretty badly. despite the circumstances, i was kind of excited to look at the "activites" that go on in there. i surprised myself at how calm i was. while waiting for the doctor, i started getting the creeps hearing all the moaning, but after awhile you just tune it out. i am really looking forward to becoming a nurse (just doing prereq.'s now)
