oh yay! thanks so much for responding. I don't know anyone in our cohort :( and I'm scared too... but can't wait to start :D.

Are we going to have classes/clinicals in Riverview? I know that we were suppose to, but my letter of acceptance didn't really specify the location.

Do you start in May? If so yes you will be at riverview and your classes/lab will be there but your clinicals will be at any St. Johns hospital. It is a very intense program and if they offer the pilot and you are asked DO IT!!!

It helps a ton when the first semester starts.

Do you know when do we have an orientation so we can actually meet our classmates and find out all the details?

The pilot is a program that OU is trying out to have student due NRS 281 by itself before the program actually starts..It is intense but eases the load when the program starts bigtime! You have a mandatory medical term and math test u have to pass or you fail the program.

The orientation will prob be in February for the May 2010 start.

I asked the question about orientation and was told it will prob. be in March.

I knew some people were moved ahead and have been trying to get one of the spots to start in Jan-crossing my fingers and praying. i finished all pre-reqs last winter and have to wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!!!I could have taken the NRS 281 this Fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please join me in praying for a spot if you believe in prayer anyone, i need this seriously.

Ok wait--you guys are to start May 2010? And are trying to get into Jan 2010? Does anyone know where Jan classes will be held???

Hi Lisa,

I actually posed the exact question earlier in the summer and got no response, i guess we could email hte sch. to find out. i know the SON advisor is out of the office, maybe the director can let us know. she responds very promptly to emails.

Unless any admitted student reads this and lets the rest of us know.:D
