Hi does anyone have any suggestions, books, materials or tips on what to study for the NACE I exam? I've been a LPN for 7 years, and i haven't done direct nursing care in 5 years. A lot of material I may not remember from NCLEX. I'm planning to take the exam in a few weeks, before the deadline of October 2015

I am looking for NACE material as well. I have been LPN for 6 years and looking to get into a bridge program that requires this for the entrance points. I know this in an older thread , but have you found anything?

I used the 2017 Saunders NCLEX. I also benefitted from a series by Mary Ann Hogan that I found cheap at Thriftbooks.com; Look for "Reviews and Rationals" series. If you are able, spread the tests out and try to avoid taking them all at once. 4 of the 8 people who tested with me took them all in one 2 day session and the didn't pass 2/4 tests. All 4 people missed psych and peds by a few points.
Another great resource is the paid practice exams on the NLN website. They are 8 dollars and about 50 questions each and I saw almost identical questions on my tests.

Okay... I know this is an old thread but I’m hoping someone is still subscribing to this by chance. I have a few questions. I have taken 2 of the NLN exams and plan to take the other two in January. I plan on attending the Tulsa campus. I’m wondering how the program is structured. What day are classes? How many days a week are the classes held? When are clinicals? How often are clinicals? What are the classes like, etc? Hope someone is out there.
thanks
Hello I graduated from the program in May and it was a great program I attended the Oklahoma City campus. Classes are held one Saturday a month they give you your schedule in advance so you can take time off work. And most of the time (if the class has completed all their assignments, exams, and clinical) they cancel the last class. If you are doing the full time 2 semester program, the first semester is community health clinical that is 3 eight hour days for the second semester it is 4 twelve hours acute care days, 3 eight hours for leadership. The program is not difficult it just requires a lot of hard work and discipline. I wish you all the best.

Hi... thanks for your reply. Very helpful. Another question. When are tests administered? Are clinicals during the week or on Saturday too?
Hello, they give you a calendar with all the important dates including test dates. First semester they give you a bunch of days and you pick the days you want to complete your clinical days. The second semester they assign the days for you but you are told in advance so you can request time off.
