Anyone own their own otoscope/opthaloscope sets?
Should I invest in the expesive set like a Welch Allyn for 400.00 or more or go with a less expensive brand like Riester?
Do pocket sets work as good as the regular size?
:) :balloons:
Any recommendations?
Thanks

Hello, shelleternal,
I looked at both and decided on the Riester. Some of the facilities where I do NP relief have the Welch Allyn installed the one I learned on in years past. I like that, but, my portable set is just as good. No problems and I have zero regrets.

My Welch-Allyn works just as well as the wall-mounted sets in the clinic. I'd check ebay for deals. You can usually find a student who was required to buy a set but rarely used it.
