Just curious if there are any other December 05 grads branched Army Nurse Corps?
I did ROTC all 4.5 years while getting my BSN- it was difficult, but I think it was worth it. In some ways I believe it helped me get through nursing school too.
All I have left is 50 hours of clinical...and just sitting around waiting to graduate and pin on my gold bars.

Hi army kitten,
Im not too familiar with the ROTC program but I have my packet in the the boards this month and hopefully I will get commished soon. Do you know when your OBC class starts? Im hoping to start OBC with the next available open class date.

There is a class that starts in January that is already full; the next is March (which I am hoping for), then July or August. I believe there are 3 per year, but I may be incorrect. Each class is 11 weeks, with an additional week for you if you have no prior military experience.
I dont have my orders yet regarding OBC dates or duty station; but I have my fingers crossed that I am stationed at Hood with my husband.
Good luck- I hope you are able to be commissioned soon!
Thanks, I hope I find out this month. I am hoping for the March OBC as well. MY husband is stationed here in San Antonio so it works out well so that I dont have to leave my family for OBC. Congrats on getting close to graduating. Where are you hoping to get stationed? Will they station your husband where you go or vice versa?
