OSU-OKC FALL 2018

Published

Hi guys. I found several threads for previous semesters but not for fall 2018, so I decided to start a new one.

Does anyone know what the last cut off was? I heard two different answers and I haven't seen Gaytra yet.

How many students do they take per semester?

Gaytra wasn't sure what the cutoff number was. She didn't seem that she wanted to commit to a specific number. I just applied with 88. Hope i am gping to get in.

I think the accept 90 students.

From the Spring 18 thread it looks like the cut off was 82. I applied with 85 points, which is super close to the cut off. So I hope I get in.

The last cut off was 82, and the time before that was 78. I applied. I don't know why, but Im already getting really anxious and nervous about what to expect in the nursing program.

Hi Guys! I just turned my application in today, so I wanted to follow this thread! I'm pretty nervous, I applied with 85 points! Hopefully, that's enough but I asked Gaytra what the cut off would be today and she wasn't sure! Does anyone know when they usually send out letters for acceptance?

I turned my application in about 2 weeks ago. I applied with 93 points. I'm so scared (even though I went over all the required information with the nursing advisor twice), that I am going to end up missing something. Does anyone know when we might hear something?

I turned my application in today with 85 pts. Which I know it's close, but I'm taking micro/physio this spring. So if I have to re-apply I will have a few more points. I read the previous threads, some people posted that they got the acceptane letter like a month later of the application due date. I hope to hear sooner lol. We will see

When I turned in my application I was kinda nervous about the cut off pounts and was thinking I might have to wait until I complete micro for more points (I applied with 88) and Gaytra told me the highest cut off she ever remembers seeing was 85 or 86, and it's been a long time since that. I bet anyone with at least 85 is good to go... but ya never know. Knowing my luck the cut off will be 90 this time. Acceptance letters take 6 weeks after deadline, I believe.

Hey everyone! I applied like around mid feb- but my points are at 75 which is ok as I only

Got two weeks to study for HESI cause they switched it again ugh but i am ok with that. More time to study for fall test dates- I wanna know why the application deadline got pushed to March 15th it's been March 1 for many years now- i feel like its alittle unfair for everyone who rushed getting things handled but that's my 2 cents. Everyone best best wishes!! Cause we need nurses bad!

I heard in recent years they've found out as early as April 1st! I just applied last week with a 86 points, which should have been 96 points but my last college never replaced a grade for a class that I dropped when I left for the military so it made my GPA .02 points to low for the next 10 points on the scale. But I feel like I still have a decent chance of getting in with an 86 but it would have just been a to more reassuring to have applied with the 96.. Good luck everyone I heard the class last fall the cutoff (after some people declined their acceptance) was a 74.

Did anyone get an email confirming that they applied? It felt kind of weird just going in and handing them the application and that being it! I'm probably just nervous and overthinking the process but just curious!

I didn't get anything, and I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that lol. They were just like okay thank you, bye. And I was like okay is there anything else I need to do? And they said no just wait for a letter lol.
