osteo vs rheumatoid arthritis nursing interventions

this is my first post here at allnurses.com :)

i hope you guys could point me to a website that has nursing interventions for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. my assignment is comparing both conditions and our school library is really short in material. i need this before the weekend ends :)

the only websites that i know of where you can find any online nursing interventions are the ones for nursing diagnoses at the care plan constructors. i posted links to them on these two threads just recently. you would need to know what specific patient problems (symptoms) you are addressing to get to the right interventions.

what you are going to have to do is look up information on the medical diagnosis of these two diseases to see how they differ in their signs and symptoms. your nursing interventions revolve around addressing the signs and symptoms and that's how they will differ. there will also be slight differences in the medical treatment and medications used for each which you will need to know to be able to carry out the doctor's orders. here are websites where you can look for information about diseases and medical treatment:
