Anyone starting in the Orlando Tech LPN program this Fall 2015. I'm so excited and astounded to have been provisionally accepted!!! I cannot wait until orientation and class starts!!
Wia is a program that is through the workforce that will pay for your classes and everything. It's like a scholarship if you qualify for the maximum you only end up paying like five hundred dollars. I am waiting to see if they approve my application. I can give you some contact info but I don't want to put it on this public post.
Yeah i've been reading as much as I can on different websites trying to find out all that I can. I've ordered one book off of Amazon but it hasn't come yet. I haven't ordered anymore because they're kind of pricy. I have a friend going through the program at another school. She said it's challenging and very time consuming but she does well on her tests. But she did have to drop her work schedule down to weekends only.
Are you a CNA now? I've thought about doing that while in nursing school just for the healthcare exposure and experience. I'm a server at a restaurant right now which I like and I make good money. It also gives me a flexible schedule. But maybe it would be better for me in the long run to go ahead and start working in the field.
Yeah I got the last email. I think the original email was just incorrect. It never made sense to me that we would register before orientation when we really didn't have any information. I had always been under the impression that orientation was pretty much the start of everything and then we would go from there.
