You must be only searching for acute care hospital positions.
I graduated from a non-accredited associate degree nursing program. In the area where I reside, the nursing homes, specialty hospitals, group homes, adult daycare centers, psychiatric facilities, hospices, private duty cases, and home health companies will hire RNs who graduated from unaccredited programs.
To increase your chances of hospital employment, you will need to bite the bullet and earn a BSN degree to remove the focus from your unaccredited associate degree (if this is the case...I assume you have an ADN).Will I ever be able to get into a bigger hospital after I get experience?

Hello!
I am a new RN. unfortunately I went to a school who did not get their accreditation before they were de-funded and closed down.
Everywhere I am looking says that they will only hire nurses from an accredited school and I am really freaking out.
Has anyone been in this scenario and got a job?
Thanks!
