Hi Orlando CNAs
I live in Orlando (MCO area) and will start ASN program next month. To help the school/daycare expenses I am thinking of becoming a CNA. However, since my husband works night shifts and on Sundays, I am just able to work 3 days a week and Saturdays.
I was wondering if it is possible to find a part time CNA job with no experience in my area?
Also, is it possible to study the for written exam part by myself and practice the skills with youtube and pass the exam without paying for the course? I attended CNA training years ago and am familiar with the job.
Thank you in advance.

4yourCNA.com was a really helpful site I used when going for my CNA license. I was able to just challenge the test instead of having to go to school. I did the HHA/CNA program with the written part. I studied for at least a month and practiced daily. There are jobs you can get with no experience for sure you can try ALF’s, Nursing Homes and apply for a PRN position. You can even speak to a staffing agency to try and set your own schedule so you can choose the day and times you want to work without any obligation.
I will be doing that starting next month when my son is in daycare while I go to school during the day. I will probably only work 1 day a week because I need all the time I can get to go towards my studies. Good luck!
