All I got to say is nursing school is not a piece of cake. I would reccomend taking classes together to learn how to prioritize and to get challenged. When you are in nursing school you will be spread thin.
One semester I took A&P II, Chem II and statistics while working 25 hours a week. It is doable. good luck
I'm taking Organic Chem, Physiology and Micro all next semester and starting clinicals next Fall. Will it be too much? Well, we won't know unless we try. And I do agree with Labman, might as well learn how to prioritize now while in pre-reqs. I think with every semester, my study habits get better, so I hope I have great study habits when I start clinicals.
I just took Organic Chemistry, while taking Physiology, Statistics, and then psychology and sociology. It wasn't too difficult.
It was a good challenge! You'll do great as long as you have your study habits in check. READING AHEAD is strongly suggested. I did and it helped tremendously towards the end of the semester when things get busy.

hello all! i have a question for anyone that can help. i am registered to take organic chemistry & a&p 2 this upcoming spring (jan), and don't know if it is smart to take both courses together. i just completed a&p1 this semester and know how demanding the course is. but, i have already been accepted into a nursing program and as soon as i finish these 2 courses i can begin my nursing courses in the summer. i am very egger to start the nursing courses but don't know if i am making a smart decision by taking both science courses together. i have asked friends and classmates about what to do and have got mixed answers. help!?
