I would like to hear from nurses that have completed either RN to BSN at Linfield (Portland) and OSHU. Anyone do it online? What is the cost?

Thank you.

Have you checked out either colleges website regarding their programs? I know OHSU is around 407$ per credit hour, but I do believe their rates will be going up in the fall, as do most colleges. I can't remember what Linfield's cost is.

OHSU does not require that you take a certain number of credits (other than their required nursing courses) like Linfield does. I think Linfield requires around 8 credits of any coursework outside of their nursing program course work. It can be any classes.

I stopped looking into Linfield because I decided I wanted to go to OHSU, mostly because they have a master's degree program, which I want as an option later on down the road. Linfield does not have a masters degree program.

Did you end up applying for their fall start?

Did you end up going to OHSU? Did you like it? Did you get into your masters program that you wanted? OHSU has the masters program that I want but I am planning on attending Linfield for my RN to BSN this fall. Do you have a better chance of getting into a Masters program at OHSU if you did your BSN there?
