Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) 3 year BSN - 2025 Waitlist/Alternate list

Published

Hi! I noticed a thread on the previous years' OHSU BSN alternates, but there's nothing for this year. I thought I'd create one to see where students are on the waitlist for OHSU. If you've been added to the alternate list, please leave a comment or reply with your current status (accepted or still waiting for a call).

Btw, I am an alternate student at OHSU Ashland campus.

Im an alternate/waitlist for OHSU Portland

I was waitlisted for Ashland ABSN and the three year 😩I've known several nurses who were waitlisted and both got a call a couple weeks before. I got all vaccines ready and just staying positive.

@LizaB Did they get in on the three year BSN? How many are they? Do you mind if I ask their stats? Or your stats? I have a 4.0 GPA but I don't have any healthcare work experience, so I think I have a low chance of getting in.

The two I knew were for the ABSN. Neither had healthcare experience but high GPAs. Someone from work told me she knew a couple people who were accepted off the waitlist for the 3 year last year but don't know there stats, not to dash your hopes but also knew a girl who was waitlisted a couple years ago ( 3 year) and didn't get in. So could go either way I think. 🤞

Thank you!! I just don't understand why they would not tell us how many alternate students they have : ((

I'm an alternate for Monmouth. I applied out of state so I'm pretty bummed out I won't be able to plan ahead if I do end up getting accepted. I have 4.0 in science pre-reqs and almost 3 years of experience as an LVN.
