Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone else has received an invitation for the interview assessment for the nursing program at OHSU, Monmouth location ?
@Nicole Trujillo I just got it like ten minutes ago. Best of luck to you!!
Congratulations to you ladies! If you don't mind me asking what was your overall GPA and prerequisites GPA going in. And was this your first year applying? Also did you have work experience to add to your application?
also so the ladies who didn't get in I looked up the acceptance rate and it's 2.28%. It's definitely a tough program to get into. Don't be too discouraged, we will try again next year!
Wow, so exciting Marcelyn!! Congrats!! ☺️
I will be waiting to open my email tonight with family, then I will update what happens!
This was my first year applying. I have 80 hours of volunteer work at the Salem Hospital, 8 months of caregiving, and 9 months of being a laboratory assistant. I just graduated a CNA course and will be taking the state boards next week! My overall GPA is a 3.69 and my pre-req GPA is a 3.6 I also had all of my pre-reqs done last fall.
Hope this helps people as well!
I got the acceptance email just a little bit ago into the the fall cohort for the Ashland Campus. I have applied at several other nursing programs and OHSU is the first to come out with acceptance letters the other programs I have applied to I won't know til the end of May. So I'm curious how long you have to accept a seat into the program?

GPA as long as it's within their range above 3.0 is fine, extracurriculars, community services, and healthcare experiences really are all that's needed. I also recommend knowing their values and mission statement by heart. You really want to stand out as an applicant even if your GPA isn't perfect.

Anyone else just get the email? I did not get accepted. Pretty disappointed ? I know they have so many applicants though.
